Amendment of Admission Requirements for 2011

The Council of the University has on 14 June 2010 raised certain admission requirements of undergraduate programmes in the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Science, Agrisciences and Economic and Management Sciences, to be applicable on prospective students who write their final school leaving examinations at the end of 2010. The higher mark for Mathematics required by the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences also affects the admission requirements of certain programmes in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The purpose of this document is to draw your attention to the raised admission requirements that you will have to meet at registration as student in January 2011, to be able to register for the degree programme that you were/will be provisionally admitted to. This document is therefore supplementary to the admission requirements of the programmes of the abovementioned faculties as currently published on the specific web page, as well as to the admission requirements contained in the calendars of the abovementioned faculties.
